The funeral service for Allen Haynes Stewart will be conducted at 2
Saturday afternoon, July 14th, in Blevins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor
Bill S. Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. M ilitary gravesite rites will be conducted by Patton-Crosswhite V.F.W. Post
6975. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to
Valley Pike Presbyterian Church or American Cancer Society in memory of
Allen Haynes Stewart. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday
evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Stewart of Bristol died Wednesday. July 11, 2001, at Wellmont Hospice
House, Bristol, Tenn.
He was a former employee for Norfolk and Western Railroad and the Bristol
Tennessee/Virginia Post office, from which he retired in 1987. He was a U.S.
Air Force veteran serving in World War II.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Martha Stewart; one son,
Michael Stewart; a daughter-in-law, Susan; three grandchildren, Lindsey,
Eric and Michael; one sister, Barbara Lois Zint of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a
very special uncle and aunt, J.D. and Evelyn Hanner; and several nieces and
nephews.
